This topic is available to HDR students as part of their candidature. The topic is intended for HDR students whose research has an Indigenous Research focus. Students can enrol from their second semester of candidature and before their final semester of candidature.
INDG9000 is held as intensive workshop over one week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm at Flinders City Campus.
This topic provides the opportunity for students to:
Students will be encouraged to bring their own research projects and ideas into the discussion of research and Indigenous peoples. This will provide the basis for a critical examination of western research methodologies and their applicability to Indigenous contexts.

You will need to provide written approval from your supervisor to undertake the topic. You will also need to complete the enrolment form via the link below.
The topic is available to all HDR students with no coursework component. Students who are enrolled in a PhD (Clinical Psychology), Doctor of Education and Doctor of Public Health are unable to undertake the topic as it does not fit with the course rules. If you are enrolled in a Masters by Research with coursework and you have electives, it may be possible to undertake this topic, please check with your Course Coordinator.
The topic cannot be taken in the first semester of candidature and must be before the final semester of candidature.
By enrolling on INDG9000 there will be a charge, however your total HDR tuition fees in the semester stay the same. Your fees would be divided into two parts, 25% of your total semester fee is for INDG9000 and 75% is for the research component.
