Description
This scholarship has been established following the creation of a dedicated fund by the South Australian government to support disadvantaged students at Flinders University. Its primary purpose is to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are undertaking a degree at Flinders University and are experiencing financial hardship.
Eligibility
Applicants for the scholarship must:
* Recipients who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, illness, or carer responsibilities) may apply to hold their scholarship part-time subject to the provision of satisfactory independent documentation.
Selection Criteria
The Scholarship selection will be made based on academic merit. Preference may be given to students who have been involved in The Santos Aboriginal Power Cup Program.
Selection of the candidate(s) will be made following procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration in consultation with the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement.
