The Adelaide PHN Primary Care Masters Scholarship has been generously funded by Adelaide PHN to support students pursuing a Masters degree by Coursework in a primary health discipline at Flinders University. Adelaide PHN, the local Primary Health Network (PHN) for the Adelaide region, is committed to shaping the health system to deliver better outcomes for vulnerable people and a healthier Adelaide.
Eligibility
Applicants for the Scholarship must:
*Scholarships are available to part-time students in exceptional circumstances, which include (but are not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities. Part-time scholarship recipients will receive the same annual value as full-time scholarship recipients.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need and the applicant’s demonstrated commitment to primary care. Specifically, preference will be given to applicants who have attained a prior degree and/or worked in primary care, including but not limited to: general practices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, community based allied health, nursing, maternal and child health, sexual health, drug and alcohol, mental health and urgent care services.
Preference will also be given to South Australia-based students.
Selection will be undertaken by a panel comprising representatives from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and College of Medicine and Public Health in conjunction with Student Finance and Scholarships.
