DST Scholarship for Continuing Students

Each scholarship is funded by DST each scholarship will have a value of $3,000 paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Up to 30 scholarships will be available per year for the duration of the funding, normally spread equally over the year levels.   

Applicants must be:

• Australian citizens or permanent residents.
• be enrolled in the second or subsequent year Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Systems and Security), Bachelor of Science (Physics) combined degree or an approved alternative*; and
• normally enrolled full-time at Flinders University. 
• have a GPA of 5.5 or above.

Students who are enrolled part-time as a result of exceptional circumstances will be considered. Exceptional circumstances may include (but is not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities. Pro-rata benefits will be paid in these instances.

* the following approved alternatives degrees will be accepted:

• Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Systems and Security), Bachelor of Science (Physics) (Honours)  - must be in the first three years of the physics honours degree; or
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) (Honours) - Systems and Security major only, Bachelor of Science (Physics); or
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) (Honours) - Systems and Security major only, Bachelor of Science (Physics) (Honours)  - must be in the first three years of the physics honours degree
