The Government of South Australia has established the Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) Scholarship for students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate initial teacher registration courses.
54 Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) Scholarships will be available for students commencing in 2024. An application for a place as a commencing student in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree that is accredited by the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia will constitute an application for a scholarship.
All students who accept an offer into an eligible course for semester 1 2024 and are enrolled in at least one topic by close of business on Monday 29th of January, will be considered for these scholarships.
Each scholarship is valued at $5,000, subject to maintaining enrolment in an eligible course. Payments will be made in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
Part-time students should receive independent tax advice before accepting their scholarships, as the scholarship may be considered taxable income.

Applicants will be ranked on the basis of academic merit (ATAR or GPA). Preference may be given to full-time students.
No more than 50% of scholarships will be allocated to any one program stream. No more than 60% of the allocation will be provided to postgraduate students.
Selection of the candidate(s) will be made by a committee comprising representatives from the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement and Student Administration Services.
An application for the course and subsequent enrolment in that course by the nominated deadline will constitute an application for the scholarship. Late course acceptances may be considered if the scholarship quotas have not been exhausted.
* Students who receive a course offer on the 11th of January 2024 will be considered for this scholarship.
