Flinders University has established this scholarship to support interstate students studying undergraduate courses in STEM focussing on the defence industry. 

The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum for up to four years. The scholarship will be paid in instalments of $5,000 each semester subject to the recipient maintaining eligibility.

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident of Australia or permanent humanitarian visa holder; and
• be applying via SATAC to commence an eligible undergraduate course in STEM focussing on the defence industry at Flinders University as a Commonwealth Supported student*; and
• have their first preference to an eligible Flinders course; and
• be in receipt of means-tested government payments or be able to demonstrate financial hardship; and
• have a permanent residential address in any Australian state or territory other than South Australia or the Northern Territory.
