Description
We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a fully funded ARC PhD scholarship in the Evans group at Flinders University. This project will focus on the design of bismuth complexes and their use in hydrogen evolution reactions. You will design a novel set of ligands, synthesise their corresponding bismuth complexes and explore their use as on-demand hydrogen sources. The ideal candidate will have expertise in synthetic organometallic chemistry, particularly the use of air-sensitive techniques (i.e. glovebox/Schlenk line).
