2026 Clinician rate (medical professional) - A stipend valued at up to $53,299* per annum (2026 rate) tax free. *Aligned with the annual NHMRC postgraduate scholarship rate.
2026 Non-medical rate - A stipend valued at up to $36,061 per annum (2026 rate) tax free.

Applicants to a PhD in the College of Medicine and Public Health should be focused in fields related to medicine, biomedical sciences, or public health.
Selection Criteria
Selection of scholarship recipients will be undertaken by a panel that includes the College HDR Coordinator and/or Deputy HDR Coordinator and a clinician researcher and will be based on academic merit and research potential, in alignment with College values of equity, excellence and social vision.
