The number and value of scholarships awarded each year will be determined on merit and subject to available income.
Eligibility
Eligible Fields: Architecture, Engineering, Fine Arts (Music excluded), or Classical Antiquity.
A candidate should preferably be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and a graduate of an Australian university holding either a First Class Honours degree (or equivalent qualification) or a Research Masters degree. Other candidates who are students in any of the specified areas of study may be considered on merit.
The University of Adelaide is currently administering the John Crampton Travelling Scholarship for 2026. This prestigious award supports Australian graduates pursuing higher degree research (Master’s or Doctorate) overseas.
Although administered by the University of Adelaide, the scholarship is open to eligible graduates from any Australian university.
