Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
Selection will be awarded based on academic merit, using the applicant’s university entrance score. Selection of the candidate(s) will be made at the same time as the main round of university admission offers in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration Services and based on SATAC application data. If the scholarship quota is not filled in the first main of offers, the University may decide to offer scholarships to students in subsequent rounds. (Note, the main round is usually the first offer round held in the January of the admission year).
The scholarship is awarded for the published duration of the course up to a maximum of four years and is not valid for the postgraduate component of combined degrees.
Recipients must:
Recipients who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, illness, or carer responsibilities) may apply to hold their scholarship part-time subject to the provision of satisfactory independent documentation.
