Building social and emotional skills to BOOST mental health resilience in children and young people in Europe. Funded by European Commission. Horizon 2020. Spanish. 2018-2021.
BOOST is the result of a cooperative effort between different stakeholders in the field of health research, dissemination, education, and policy making.
Through the development of an innovative approach, BOOST aims to promote mental health and well-being in young people. Mental well-being is central to population health and well-being. Not ensuring mental well-being can place a great burden on the individual and society. Therefore, it is important to promote prevention interventions that create resilience with long-lasting effects.

The aim of this project is to explain how the interactive dynamics between personal and contextual factors and involvement in interpersonal violence evolve. Two research lines will be explored: a) the individual and contextual factors that influence how peer relationships are managed (physical, virtual and in couples) and b) the trajectory of these factors in their relationship with involvement in violence among students.
The study has a longitudinal design with a duration of two years divided into four periods. The study has been carried out with more 6000 students between the age of 10 and 16 years. An international plan for the dissemination and transfer of results is designed.
