Amber Kinetics is a leading designer of flywheel technology focused on the energy storage needs of the modern electric grid. Amber Kinetics is expanding its footprint in South Australia by setting up a factory for its novel A25 flywheel energy storage system at Lonsdale.
To support this growth, Amber Kinetics is working closely with Flinders University’s Factory of the Future to design and optimise the new facility’s factory layout using digital simulations of the material flow. This approach allows the team to model how components and materials move through the production process, identify bottlenecks, and improve overall production efficiency.
The result is a streamlined, scalable manufacturing environment that supports higher production volumes and positions Amber Kinetics for global growth.
