University Department of Rural Health (UDRH), South Australia
The Flinders University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) comprises of a dedicated team of academics and professional staff located in rural and remote South Australia, focusing on health education, student placements and research.
In partnership with the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, UDRH SA coordinates the Riverland Interdisciplinary Student Placement Program (RISPP) which includes an interprofessional student-led allied health clinic at the Aboriginal Wellbeing Centre in Barmera. This unique placement opportunity enables students to collaborate with the Indigenous community health service, whilst receiving mentoring support from a cultural advisory team.
Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA has a large presence in our State's regional areas, including Barossa Valley, Hills Mallee Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island, Mid North and Yorke Peninsula, Riverland, South East and Far North and Eyre Peninsula.
