Far North & Eyre Peninsula

Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA provide support for students who undertake short-term clinical placements at hospitals and health services throughout the northern, western and Eyre Peninsula regions of South Australia.

Nursing, allied health and fourth-year medical students undertake placements:

as far north as Coober Pedy;
as far west as Ceduna; and
as far south as Port Lincoln.

Flinders students are often co-located with peers from The University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.

Our campus

Flinders University does not have a physical campus in the northern, western or Eyre Peninsula regions.

Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA works closely with the University of Adelaide and UniSA to ensure students have access, where possible, to accommodation and shared resources while on work integrated learning placements.
