Dr Alicia Lander is a Research Associate in the College of Medicine and Public Health and the ECR lead of the Circadian Health research theme at the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI). Her research has primarily focused on investigating circadian rhythms, impulsive behaviour and mood. Dr Lander has presented her research at national sleep and chronobiology conferences and has published in high quality peer-reviewed journals. She is also the Communications & Media Manager of the Australasian Chronobiology Society.

Key responsibilities

Dr Lander is currently working on a Wellcome Trust-funded project integrating sleep and circadian science into our understanding and treatment of depression. She is also a Honours and PhD student supervisor (2021 - present).
