Teaching interests

My teaching interests lie at the intersection of data-driven decision-making, consumer insights, and digital marketing strategies.

  • As Topic Coordinator and Lecturer for BUSN2031 Business Forecasting, I am particularly passionate about equipping students with analytical tools to make accurate business predictions in uncertain environments. I focus on building strong foundations in time series analysis and forecasting models while ensuring students understand the practical application of these tools in real business contexts.
  • In BUSN9264 Consumer Behaviour, I aim to cultivate a deep understanding of the psychological, cultural, and social drivers behind consumer decisions. My teaching emphasizes critical thinking and real-world application, helping students link theory with marketing practice, particularly in diverse and globalised marketplaces.
  • As Coordinator of BUSN1022 Marketing Principles in the Digital Era, I focus on the transformative impact of technology on marketing. I am committed to preparing students to succeed in a dynamic digital environment by teaching core marketing concepts through a contemporary lens, including digital platforms, data ethics, and customer engagement strategies.
  • My interest in BUSN9233 Data Analytics for Decision Making stems from a desire to bridge the gap between data and strategy. As both Lecturer and Coordinator, I integrate hands-on learning with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and predictive modelling, helping students develop the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.

Across all these topics, I strive to foster student curiosity, practical skill development, and critical thinking, ensuring learners are prepared to navigate and lead in the evolving business landscape.
