Bradley Kirk is a Casual Research Academic at the Flinders Institute for Nanoscale Science & Technology, with the research project focusing on investigating methods for improving the thermal thermal stability of scalable Organic Photovoltaics (OPVs). Devices are fabricated with the use of a mini-roll coater with a slot-die coater attachment, with coating occurring under ambient conditions.

Bradley is focused on understanding the thermal behaviour of organic-based materials, by combing several microscopy (SEM, Optical, AFM), spectroscopy (XPS, AES, NICISS) and material analysis techniques (DTMA), with the aim to determining statergies of infleuncing thermal degradation pathways in OPVs.
