My background is in Education. I have been a teacher for 18 years in middle and primary school settings. Within this time I held several leadership positions in Student Well-Being and Curriculum Development. Additionally, I am Strength and Conditioning Coach possessing numerous industry body qualifications from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association and the Australian Weightlifting Federation. I have worked in this field at the sub-elite and community-based levels in Australian Rules Football and netball.

My research interests centre on the use of Global Positioning Systems in Australian Rules Football and translation sport science. More recently I have a renewed interest in the use of Game Sense in junior sport.
