Dayna Easton is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Flinders University with expertise in circadian rhythms, fatigue risk management strategies, and cognitive performance in shift work contexts. Her research integrates gold-standard laboratory protocols, such as randomised controlled trials and constant routines, to explore how individual differences, particularly circadian typology, contribute to variability in shift work tolerance. Her postdoctoral work continues to bridge circadian science with real-world challenges, aiming to improve occupational safety and wellbeing in 24/7 industries. Through collaboration, innovation, and a people-centred approach, Dayna is driven by a commitment to translating research into practical solutions that protect and support workers in demanding environments.
