Qualifications
  • Masters of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University.
  • Bsc Hons in Computer science from University College Dublin.
Key responsibilities

Providing advice, user support and training to Rural and Remote staff, students and external clients on the use of the University’s information and digital technology systems as required. Providing technical support to teaching and learning activities, including the delivery of university courses via video conferencing, and providing support in recording, editing and archiving videos. Maintaining, setting up, and securing audio‐visual, end user devices and other ICT related equipment, for RRH campuses across South Australia. Providing support and training to staff on Microsoft/Office 365 tools (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Visio).Working closely with Information and Digital Services (IDS) to coordinate the delivery of central AV/ICT services to RRH staff and students. Providing local AV/ICT support to RRH staff and students including remote sites.Providing Level 2 helpdesk support, maintaining asset registers, databases, scripts and related documentation. Contributing to ICT and IDS team meetings, strategic planning and the improvement of AV/ICT service delivery across RRH and supporting the development of processes and procedures. Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the position as assigned by the Supervisor and/or the University.
