Philipp Dautel has a track record in facilitating innovation and fostering cross-sector collaboration.
As the Principal Manager, he supports the Flinders Factory of the Future in all strategic and operational matters and builds strong networks and partnerships with industry, government and other external organisations.
Prior to joining Flinders University, Philipp contributed to realising the vision of Tonsley Innovation District as the Precinct Director by attracting investment and building a trusted and connected community that continues to receive global recognition.
He has worked for the University of South Australia, the CSIRO as well as in not-for profit to facilitate business and research collaborations to help SMEs to innovate and grow.
He is also experienced in media production and communications, having delivered services to tech companies prior to relocating to Australia.
Philipp holds a Master of Arts in business administration from Munich University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor in media and communications from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.
