Shai Coggins is an Experiential Programs Trainer with Flinders New Venture Institute and a casual academic with the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work at Flinders University, where she teaches pre-service teachers. She has taught HASS and Science topics, and has also worked as a Topic Coordinator.

With a background spanning classroom teaching, STEM coordination, educational technologies, industry and government partnerships, as well as curriculum and learning design, Shai brings a practical, student-centred approach to teaching and training in tertiary education.

Currently pursuing a PhD in education focused on critical thinking and creativity in writing literacy using Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Shai is particularly interested in preparing future teachers and students to integrate digital technologies thoughtfully and creatively. She is committed to fostering practical creativity and purposeful innovation in the next generation of educators and professional practitioners.
