Shai Coggins is an Experiential Programs Trainer with Flinders New Venture Institute, a Topic Coordinator for ENTP1001 and ENTP1002, and a casual academic with the College of Human Sciences and Culture (formerly the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work) at Flinders University. In her academic role, she primarily teaches pre-service teachers in STEM-related topics and has also worked as a Topic Coordinator and marker within the College.

With a background spanning classroom teaching, STEM coordination, educational technologies, industry and government partnerships, as well as curriculum and learning design, Shai brings a practical, student-centred approach to tertiary teaching and training.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, focusing on critical and creative thinking in writing through the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Her work centres on preparing future teachers and students to engage with digital technologies in thoughtful and creative ways, with a strong emphasis on practical creativity and purposeful innovation in education and professional practice.
