Sharee has extensive experience working with diverse communities and cultures and has volunteered in Cambodia on numerous occasions in an outreach capacity. She has a Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation and Service Coordination through La Trobe university and has previously worked in case coordination roles with the Royal Society for the Blind and ECH, as well as an Early Childhood Intervention Consultant with Child and Family Health Services. Sharee has been employed in the higher education sector since 2019, with her primary experience being in student support roles predominantly in the health and medical science faculty. In her recent employment as a Disability Advisor and current role as a Project Support Officer in disability and inclusion, Sharee works to ensure that all students’ have access to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Sharee is passionate about animal rights and humanitarian aid. She is an avid animal and beach lover, and when not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Project Support Officer- Disability and Inclusion at Flinders University.
The Project Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of a new employment pathways course at Flinders University, for students with intellectual disability. The role focuses on collaboration with the Lived Experience Advisor, Project Officer and university teams to support the development of strategies and capacity-building initiatives, that enhance accessibility and inclusion across the university.
Disability Advisor at Flinders University
Working under broad direction the Disability Advisor (DA) assists the University to meet its obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. The DA supports students to participate in university studies by addressing disability or other related issues that impact on the ability to participate equitably in University life. The Disability Advisor will support academic and professional staff to understand and implement accommodations to facilitate students learning and assessment needs.
