Dr Tahereh Pourshafie considers it a privilege to walk alongside a diverse cohort of students—both local and international—supporting them in developing academic literacy and professional communication skills. She values the unity of vision and the appreciation of diverse expertise as essential elements in collaborative educational efforts.
In her role as a Learning Advisor, Tahereh coordinates and facilitates the Introductory Academic Program (IAP) and contributes as a facilitator in the Flinders Foundation Studies Program (FSP). She is passionate about empowering students to become active agents in their own learning journeys. With a background in wisdom education, Tahereh is a strong advocate for peace and harmony within the global community, and she strives to foster a meaningful and uplifting learning environment.
Her approach to educational development is grounded in reflective practice—engaging in cycles of action, reflection, and consultation to enhance learning strategies and outcomes. She brings a deep understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and its potential to enrich student learning and success.
Tahereh’s research explores the role of wisdom in educational settings, aiming to cultivate prosocial behaviour and awaken individuals’ innate capacity for wise thinking and action. Her work supports a holistic vision of education—one that nurtures personal, social, emotional, and spiritual growth while inspiring contributions to the betterment of society.
