I am a passionate Midwife with a strong commitment to improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, particularly in the areas of pregnancy and postpartum care. With over four years of experience in tertiary education, I am dedicated to fostering the growth and confidence of students entering the health care system, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to provide culturally safe care. As an emerging Aboriginal academic and research leader in women’s health, my focus lies in making lasting, meaningful change to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes. I am driven by a deep desire to contribute to research, education, and advocacy that enhances culturally responsive healthcare practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
