As we celebrate 25 years of medical education and research in the NT, we want to shine the spotlight on some of the extraordinary Territorians changing lives and building the health system.
We want to recognise the critical role that NT clinicians are playing in educating student doctors through the Northern Territory Medical Program – delivering more than 150 graduates over the past 10 years.
We are proud that 10 per cent of our graduates have been Indigenous doctors, and are committed to growing the number of health professionals for the Territory for decades to come.

The Flinders NT Regional Training Hub presents the 2022 NT Medical Careers Expo. Our exhibitors will share their insights and provide robust networking opportunities focussing on medical students and prevocational doctors, though all medical clinicians are welcome to attend. The Expo will support attendees in making decisions regarding the optimal next steps in their medical career and training.
Come and meet representatives from the Specialist Medical Training Colleges, Health Service Departments, Regional Training Organisations, workforce, and employment agencies. Each organisation/department representative will have an interactive activity so you can have some fun while being further informed about the specialisation. There will be time to organise a meeting with college staff and to download further documentation via our virtual networking booths. Join in the event’s gamification. Just by being there, you will be in the running for a great door prize.
The event will run from 5:30pm-8pm on Thursday 26 May 2022 as an in-person event. Catering will be provided. The Expo will be held at the Menzies School of Health Research at Royal Darwin Hospital. Due to its hands-on nature, this event will not be recorded.
We are also proud to welcome our sponsor for the 2022 Medical Careers Expo, Avant Mutual.
RSVP’s are essential with registration links to be advised.
