Flinders University celebrates 50 years of Nutrition & Dietetics.

For 50 years, Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University has been preparing graduates to improve health outcomes through evidence-based nutrition practice, innovation and community connection. Since the program’s establishment in the mid-1970s, Flinders has built a strong reputation for producing highly skilled, compassionate graduates who are ready to work across hospitals, community health, aged care, research, public health and industry settings.

Our programs combine strong scientific foundations with extensive real-world placement experiences and a focus on interprofessional learning. Partnerships with health networks, research institutes, councils and community organisations provide students with opportunities to work alongside industry throughout their studies.

We are proud of the many graduates who have gone on to lead and shape the profession across Australia and internationally. As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead to the future - continuing to evolve our programs to meet changing community needs, advance nutrition science and support healthier futures for all.
