Over the years, we evolved into part of the South Australian College of Advanced Education, and eventually became a proud part of Flinders University. Until 2020, Flinders was the sole institution in South Australia offering tertiary-level courses in speech pathology.
Today, the Speech Pathology discipline at Flinders University continues to make a profound impact on individuals, families, and communities across South Australia and beyond. With over 380 students enrolled annually across four programs, we are the only provider in South Australia offering postgraduate training in Speech Pathology.
Since the beginning, we have proudly seen over 1,900 students graduate. Our programs attract a diverse range of students, including a growing number of international students. Our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) numbers are on the rise, and our research impact continues to expand each year. We are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative curricula that result in high student success and satisfaction rates.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the development of our new Bachelor of Allied Health (Speech Pathology) program.
