We offer access to dedicated breastfeeding rooms and provide flexibility to support breastfeeding employees. We also support managers to understand their role.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, recognise and celebrate universities that excel in performance across five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook. In 2024, Flinders was ranked in the top 2% of universities in the World University Rankings.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings also assess the performance of universities against multiple Sustainable Development Goals.
Sustainable Development Goal 5 focuses on gender equality, addressing issues such as pay, employment opportunities and access to education. In 2024, Flinders was proudly ranked 8th globally, out of more than 1,300 universities.
Additionally, Flinders ranked equal 10th globally for Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. This goal aims to integrate sustainability into urban development, enhancing access to basic services, improving quality of public spaces, and increase the use of public transport.
Flinders is currently ranked 7th nationally on undergraduates’ ratings of student support, continuing a positive trajectory as detailed in the Quality Indicator for Learning and Teaching (QILT) Student Experience Survey. Our results have continued to improve year-on-year.
The Your Voice survey has been conducted every two years, offering insights into various topics, including job satisfaction, efficiency, teamwork, and leadership. It provides a valuable measure over time, allowing us to assess our performance against 40 other universities in Australia and New Zealand.
