Law CPD Workshop: Practical Legal Ethics

Flinders University alumni, friends and industry partners came together on Wednesday, 21 May for our inaugural Law CPD Workshop.

Guests heard from Flinders graduate Jane Abbey KC, Mark Norman KC and Alex Ward AM, leading our discussion on "Practical Legal Ethics: Without Fear or Failure: Advocating for a Client’s Interest Beyond Good and Evil." It was a thought-provoking night exploring the challenges of advocacy,  particularly when a client’s interests conflict with your personal values or when public opinion is strongly opposed to the client.

After the formalities, guests enjoyed light refreshments and drinks while taking in the stunning view of Adelaide skyline at night.
