Vice-Chancellor Excellence Scholarship

50% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate applicants require an equivalent minimum ATAR 95 or above
• Postgraduate applicants require an equivalent of 6.5 GPA or above

Selection process:
These scholarships are competitive awards and are confirmed through a selection process. For those who have been shortlisted, you will be required to complete a video submission outlining your suitability for the scholarship.

Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcome as part of the selection process. Applicants who are eligible for an alternate scholarship will be issued an offer, including a scholarship at the time of application. Successful recipients will be required to participate in the Flinders International Ambassador Program and actively support Flinders University in promoting Flinders globally.

Global Excellence Scholarship

Up to 25% or 30% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Global Scholarship (25%)
Applicants must:

• achieve an ATAR or equivalent between 70.00 and 79.95 and exceed the minimum course entry score by 5 points OR
• achieve the Flinders University Academy International Foundation Studies Program overall % between 70 to 79 and exceed the minimum course entry score by 5 points OR
• achieve a Flinders equivalent GPA of 5.50 or above for postgraduate course entry or tertiary transfer into an eligible undergraduate course.

Global Excellence Scholarship (30%)
Applicants must:

• achieve a minimum ATAR or equivalent of 80.00 or above OR
• achieve the Flinders University Academy International Foundation Studies Program overall grade of 80 and above OR
• achieve a Flinders equivalent GPA of 6.00 or above for postgraduate course entry or tertiary transfer into an eligible undergraduate course.

Scholarship exclusions

The following courses are excluded from the Global and Global Excellence Scholarships:

• Graduate Certificates
• Graduate Diplomas
• Doctor of Medicine
• Master of Psychology (Clinical)
• Master of Physiotherapy
• Master by Research
• Doctor of Philosophy

Kickstart Scholarship

20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Requirements:

• Available to new international students commencing a coursework course at Flinders University.
• Available only to full fee-paying international applicants of any nationality (citizens of Australia and New Zealand and Australian Permanent Residents or other permanent visa holders are ineligible for the Scholarship).
• Applicants must meet the application eligibility criteria for the course they wish to study to be considered for the scholarship.
• Commencing students who were required to defer their offer due to visa application refusal or delays in obtaining their visa are still considered commencing students for this scholarship if the scholarship is still available by the intended commencement semester/study period.
• Scholarships are not available to applicants transferring to Flinders with more than one third of the course total unit value of credit from studies completed at another institution.
