Gaokao entry requirements

Gaokao scores can be used for entry to most of the undergraduate courses at Flinders University. 

On meeting the required Gaokao score, you should also satisfy any course prerequisites and must meet the English language requirements of each course.

Gaokao applications will go through Flinders standard application process including the provision of the following documents:

• Certified evidence of the official Gaokao result issued by provincial level Academy of Education Recruitment and Examination (省/直辖市教育招生考试院) in both Chinese and English translation identifying the stream students have taken in the examination.
• Certified Senior Middle School graduation certificate and transcript in both Chinese and English.

Note 1: For any program or combined degree requiring an ATAR of 85 or higher, students must meet the Tier 1 score of their respective province. Otherwise, they must meet the Tier 2 score.

Note 2: The Humanities stream does not satisfy the Mathematics prerequisites required for certain programs.

Note 3: Flinders University reserves the right to modify Gaokao entry requirements without prior notice.
