Flinders Open Days is not just for school leavers. If you’re considering university study as an adult entry student, this is a great opportunity to explore Flinders Bedford Park campus AND discover how you’ll balance uni life with everything else you may have on your plate.
There’s a lot to consider, but here are four quick tips to get you started.
There’s a lot to see and do on campus so make sure you head to our Open Days page to see all the activities available. The Open Days planner will help you select the sessions and activities you want to attend, then add them to your calendar, download a PDF or email yourself the details. This way you won’t miss any of the important sessions you want to catch.
Open Days is an opportunity to have all your questions answered, so make sure you come with a long list, ready to ask. Your questions are likely to be different from those of students coming straight from secondary study, so don’t hold back. If in doubt, add more questions.
All across campus, we’ll have staff and students (look for the yellow t-shirts) on hand to help answer your questions.
Open Days is not just a good opportunity to explore the Bedford Park environment, it’s also an opportunity to think about how travel to and from Flinders will fit in with your timetable, and what routes may be the best to get you to classes and back. We have great public transport options, including loop buses from our Tonsley Campus, and an $85 million rail line extension (currently under construction) which will allow you to travel from the CBD in around 20 minutes.
