TAFE/VET to uni
Even if you didn’t finish Yr 12, if you’ve completed a TAFE/VET (vocational education and training) qualification you may be eligible to enter Flinders University. There are various pathways into a wide variety of course, and many Flinders courses will grant credit for previous TAFE/VET study.
Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)
If you’re 18 or older, you could be eligible to sit a 2-hour Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT). This is a multiple-choice test similar to an aptitude test. The questions will assess your ability to think critically about a range of subjects and challenge you to make sense of a variety of material.
Military academic pathways
Flinders military academic pathways could allow you to use your Australian Defence Force (ADF) qualifications as a pathway to a range of courses. You can also apply to have your professional military qualifications recognised as credit toward your new program of study, which could reduce the length of time required to complete your course.
Flinders Foundation Studies Program
Foundation Studies is a no-cost program that allows you to begin your university studies and gain eligibility to apply for most of Flinders undergraduate courses. Foundation studies is very popular, and a great way to get you started on your studies.
