Graduates are suitable for careers in management or leadership roles in the public service, local and national government or in private and non-government organisations.
Online students undertake four 10-week study periods with 4 intakes per year.
This dynamic structure allows you to complete your studies faster, while keeping a lighter load at any given point in time.
I needed the flexibility of being able to study online and in my own time. Flinders staff are accessible, and they encourage and support you to engage with other students.

The study program includes a mixture of compulsory and elective topics, as well as individual research.
Topics cover areas such as contemporary public sector management, organisational politics, culture and management in the public sector, strategic change management, public financial management and a professional research project.
Some electives can be incorporated from other graduate programs including international relations, international business, environmental management, social work, public health and educational management.
Masters students have the opportunity to undertake an internship. A Flinders’ internship helps you graduate work-ready and provides experience directly related to a specialist area in your degree.
