Apply your knowledge beyond the classroom through industry-focused learning embedded within the major.
You'll complete either an Industry Placement or Engaging with Industry topic, giving you the opportunity to develop professional skills and apply your business and communication knowledge in an authentic industry context. Throughout your studies, you'll also examine real-world examples, engage with industry perspectives and develop practical digital, communication and creative production skills.
Students must complete BUSN3100 Workplace Preparation in the semester before undertaking BUSN3044 Industry Placement or BUSN3073 Engaging with Industry.
Any additional requirements associated with an individual placement will depend on the host organisation and placement environment.
