Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) Pathway

The Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) Pathway Project provides a valuable opportunity for SACE students to develop and demonstrate skills essential for learning and living in a changing world. You develop vital planning, research, synthesis, evaluation, and project management skills which we recognise as being important in equipping you for success in higher education study.

If you have strong results in the AIF subject you will be considered for entry into Flinders on your Year 12 results (60% weighting toward the ATAR score), and AIF performance (40%).

If the combined score does not result in an enhanced selection rank, you will compete in the normal way.

Does Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) Pathway apply to your preferred course?

The AIF Pathway can be used for admission to the majority of courses offered at Flinders.

* additional requirements apply such as subject pre-requisites, Teacher Capability Statement, portfolio, audition/interview, UCAT or English language requirements. You will need to satisfy these requirements as part of the application process.

Are you eligible?

You are eligible for the Activating Identities and Futures pathway if you are:

• applying for a Flinders course starting next year AND
• currently enrolled in Year 12/13.

How to access this pathway?

You do not need to apply to be considered for this pathway. Your new selection rank will be calculated automatically on your SATAC application.
